1. Savannah National Wildlife Refuge | 10 minutes away

With over 30,000 acres of woodland, freshwater marshes, creek, and river deltas, the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge is an area of incredible biodiversity, a peaceful escape into nature. This refuge is home to a variety of wildlife, including alligators, deer, and numerous bird species. Visitors can enjoy wildlife viewing, hiking trails, and scenic drives through marshlands. Take an adventure up and down the waterways in your own canoe, or cycle or drive on the Laurel Hill Wildlife Drive.
